GRRR Magazine
GRRR is an intersectional feminist maga(zine) that draws inspiration from 70s punk and 90s Riot Grrrl movements. GRRR is an outspoken, underground DIY publication that encourages the idea of intersectional feminism and interviews artists and musicians, even public figures, who want to encourage inclusivity and the courage to speak your mind. The magazine features interviews with artists, music editorials and reviews, opinion pieces, and new and upcoming artists. This publication aims to hire people of different backgrounds and give a voice to groups who would usually be drowned out in bigger publications. I’m going for a personality that is in-between a professional, established magazine and the DIY aspect of Riot Grrrl and Punk. The artistic approach reflects modern day subjects, but takes inspiration from past movements. *The feature article + article titles in the table of contents are not mine.
